HISTORY
John W. Oliver Lodge is believed to have been named for a local Mason who had been Master of Brookhaven Lodge No. 241 in 1864 and died in 1872.

After a careful consideration of the petition and proceedings of John W.
Oliver Lodge, U. D., at Friendship Church, Lincoln County, we find them
in all particulars correct, and recommend that a charter be granted, as
